Who We Are
Operating out of Prince George, BC, Crego Design Services is a group of piping and mechanical designers specializing in maintenance and small engineering projects. We take pride providing the best possible design/drafting solution for each client, doing it at a reasonable cost.
Services
We work directly with engineers, planners, supervisors, fabricators, and pipe fitters to provide design and drafting services for as-built, new or replacement piping and mechanical projects. Using Leica scanners, Leica software, and AutoCAD, we provide laser scanning services, 3D as-built models, volumetric surveys with detailed reports, 2D orthographic and piping isometric drawings with complete bill of materials.

Derek Crego
Born and raised in Northern BC, Derek received his diploma with honors in Engineering Design Technology from the College of New Caledonia in 1998. His first position was as a Junior Designer with Duncan Industrial Engineering Inc. in Prince George, BC. In 2003 he began working with Leica laser scanners and was instrumental in pioneering multiple workflows for the emerging technology (expertise he now offers to clients). Since 2009, Derek has been working directly for clients as Crego Design Services Inc. “Our goal is to provide exceptional design/drafting services on every project,” Derek says. “You are only as good as your last job and we want each job to be successful for our clients.”
